About Abdul Rahman Shukri
Abdul Rahman Shukri 1886-1958 was an Egyptian poet whose works reflect the depth of human emotion, introspective and philosophical. Shukri studied in Sheffield, England where he completed his Bachelors thesis. He was part of the Diwan Shool of poets in Egypt. He wrote seven poetry books from 1909 – 1921.
